My Everyday 7 Minute Face
I work from home. But I still try to get ready every morning. When I get myself dressed, hair done, and makeup done I feel more productive and ready to take on the day. But I don’t like to spend a TON of time getting ready… especially since I’m sitting at home in front of my computer. So, I keep my makeup routine minimal… and done in 7 minutes or less. All products are linked below.
**I apologize for the angle and the video quality. I’ll have to film this again when I have more space to set up my actual camera.**
Amazonian Clay Tinted BB Moisturizer: I love the Amazonian Clay line from Tarte because, as I mention, I have oily skin. The clay in their products actually soaks up the oil and prevents me from getting extra shiny. I use color Medium-Tan during the summer.
Maybelline Master Conceal: This is by far the best undereye concealer I’ve tried. And at under 9 bucks, it’s amazingly affordable. I get a shade or two lighter than my skin tone to brighten up the circles under my eyes as much as possible.
Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette: This is my hands down go-to eyeshadow palette. It’s not cheap, but so worth it. I can be used in EVERY situation. The colors are richly pigmented and there isn’t a ton of fallout. If I’m traveling, I like to take a more budget friendly option… so if it breaks, I’m only out a few bucks. If that’s more your style, check out the E.LF. products. Here’s a great Naked 2 dupe palette.
Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation: Another Tarte Amazonian Clay product… their just that good. I like a loose powder to smooth my complexion.
Smooth Operator Amazonian Clay Finishing Powder: This is THE BEST finishing powder! It seems to buff out my pores to nothingness and makes my face look smooth and glowing.
ULTA Mineral Blush: I love this blush option because it gives you 2-for-1. It has a slight shimmer to it, so you can skip the highlighter. I love the color Tiger Lily because it’s not too Barbie Doll pink, but gives me a really natural flush.
IT Cosmetics You Sculpted! Contour Palette: This palette is just beyond perfection. It gives you 4 different options for contour color and a matte and radiance highlight option. Plus, it comes with a helpful book to show you where to and how to contour.
Better Than Sex Waterproof Mascara: I love the formulation of this mascara. It perfectly separates and coats my lashes. I’ve been asked a few times if I was wearing lashes while using this mascara.
This is my very favorite brush set. I use a few extra eyeshadow brushes and an extra brush for blush.
Like I said, I’m no makeup aficionado, but I hope this is helpful if you need to get your makeup on and get on with your day. What’s your favorite quick makeup tip? Let me know if you have any questions!
